I thought this was so amazing, just had to share it! This is a 3-D nano size model, about the size of a grain of sand. We can now create structures to work at the biological level. This kind of power is both awesome and scary....

An Extra-Ordinary World - Kona
Maybe a reason flowers are so beautiful is not just because of the
intense colors and immaculate aroma they have, but because of the
perspective on which they view life... Always looking up, never looking
down, taking whatever comes their way and using it to their benefit.
Whether it's sunny, rainy, or stormy, they just take the positive and
keep on keeping on and their beauty reflects that too me. The only time a
flower looks down is when it's time has passed, it falls, it still may
not find a positive in that, but it definitely contributes in a positive
way none the less. Decomposing. Adding more nutrients for the next
generation of beauties... If we see life as positive as they do, no
matter what we look like physically, your beauty will be as powerful as
that smell of a flower or as the color of it's peddles... & people
close to u will notice this. Most importantly, YOU will feel this inside
and out!

Wouldn't it be amazing if we never had to buy gas or electricity again?
I personally think it would make life that much better.
As a college student, i know how difficult it can be to pay for your own bills.
After rent and food, electricity and gas can get ridiculous.
With this invention, all of your tight spending limits will be out the window!
And its 100% environmentally friendly.
Introducing the all new, self-propelled generator.
With very powerful magnets placed in a circular direction around a hollow container, a spinning iron rod will continuously try to reach the next magnet, which fortunately, never stops.
I have found out a way to harness this energy and place it inside batteries.

Invention-Dane Christy-Neurosynaptic Chip
With the ever increasing advancements in technology, devices are getting smaller, faster, and more powerful. The line between humans and technology is slowly beginning to blur. The future lies with the emergence of humans and technology. Nanotechnology is allowing materials and devices to be created on an atomic or molecular scale. With the Neurosynaptic Chip, super intelligence is possible, linking (BCI) Brain Computer Interphase. The world is no longer at the fingertips of individuals but rather exists intimately at the neuron. The Electrode Chip is implanted into defined portions of brain to capture the brains electrical signals. The chip removes the need for physical contact with devices. This Chip allows mobility, transparency, and accesibility. You can surf the web with the power of thought. Any amount of information can instantly be accessed as fast as you can think. You can communicate with others who have the chip, with the power of thought. Just imagine virtual vacations, music, books, any thought or feeling can become your reality.
We are what we think. All that we are arises with out thoughts. WIth our thoughts we make our world. -BUDDHA

OmniGem Timeflow Necklace
This necklace contains a camera-like device, including sound
recognition/receptors which
keeps track of your
day and pairs up with your to-do list to analyze how closely you matched your
goals/used the time in your day
It will make a similar pie chart to represent what your day
could/will/would look like. It would get people into better habits if they were
conscious of this device which is conscious of what they are doing- it would
hold people more accountable for their time so that we could realize a little
bit more fully our potential as humans. This is also an answer to how distractible people are in this
era, this device will help them remain focused!
Some Addt'l Info
•It operates off of a
system accessing something similar to the internet- comparing similar patterns
in things people are doing (motion, rhythm, sounds, sights) that would be
recognized by the program to be able to analyze the data. Based on movement of
the device as well as sights and sounds it would be able to know what most
activities are. These patterns would be programmed by a team of developing
engineers. The footage taken by the camera and recording device is not able to
be transmitted. This is a strict concern for privacy and though it is an
interactive device it is disabled from sending video or sound to anyone, yet it
analyzes it for movement which IS sent into researchers (including the preknown labels for what the
activity is)
•A component of the
device is that you are able to hold down the top and it will record. This is
where if it didn’t know what your activity was it would gently vibrate, or
chirp (which ever the user prefers), and you would be welcomed to record what
your activity was, to be sent to researchers.
•The camera in the
device, along with the shared technology network would allow the intelligence
to discern from social networking sites and academic-based website usage. If
you wanted to program it to look for certain things, such as eating of certain
foods or drinking alcohol, or other things you are trying to avoid/watch for it
can do that. The main function, however, would be to be able to enter
activities you would like to do but never thought you had the “time” for- it
would show you you DO have the time!

Electricity as we know it, is a natural resource that is being depleted at an alarming rate. What if you no longer needed to "plug" things in to power them? What if you provided a sustainable source of electricity all on your own? We all contain electromagnetic energy, as does almost everything around us! I propose the invention of a small strip that can be "built in" to many of our everyday use electronics. The EMF created between us and the specialized harness strip would literally power our electronics. For the cell phone above, all you would have to do is hold the phone for it to work! If you are a fan of "hands free" devices do not fret! This invention would also have the capacity to store energy for future use.

Portal is a fully customizable one-stop website and app that allows the user to check all the information he or she seeks on a single timeline.
On the Portal timeline, you will find:
> Your schedule
> Important notices and updates from various SNSs
> Emails
> Blog posts from your favorite bloggers
> Articles from various sources on the topics you have chosen to list in the "Interests"
> Any other bits of information you want to have on it!
I am so very tired of having to go to anywhere from 5 to 12 different websites to find out all I want and need to know for the day. The portal allows you to access information from all the sites that you frequent on a single timeline. What makes it unique is that it is fully customizable. Meaning, you don't just have all the updates from your all Facebook friends, but you can choose who will show up, or you can make it so that only the YouTube links that your friends post will appear on the timeline.
Likewise, you can follow a specific news topic. For example, if you want to stay tuned on the situation in Syria, any article on the topic will appear on the timeline. You can also customize the sources (CNN, BBC, FOXNEWS and so on) so as to filter out non-credible reports.
Portal also has a suggestion tool that provides a list of websites, blogs and so on that you may find interesting by comparing your preferences with what people who have similar interests to you are following.

My invention is adjustable high heels. I usually like to wear high heels, but sometimes it's very inconvenient for me to drive a car and walk across the campus. The adjustable high heels can be changed into shoes with low heels very simply.
The heels were created based on the idea of how umbrellas work. I used the folding system of umbrellas for the heels. No more extra shoes in your bag for driving, no more trouble walking stairs, and no more painful feet.

Actually I recognized that some people had already invented adjustable high heels . I also want to share some pictures of them. Which one is the most creative? Which one do you like best?

The PeaceKeeper is an Intra-Medullary implant which gives the user the ability to control any speech which one would later regret. When one’s voice raises, the body’s blood pressure simultaneously raises. When this occurs, the PeaceKeeper prompts the lower jaw to slowly and securely close. When the user’s blood pressure lowers to predetermined levels, the PeaceKeeper safely opens the jaw to a natural position.
Research has shown that it is particularly effective among partners, such as married folk and/or anybody whose self-control is otherwise undeveloped. The benefits, hereby, include: husbands no longer “camp out” on sofas; political debates can actually debate an issue rationally; reality shows no longer exist.
"Nothing lowers the level of communication more than raising the voice." - Stanley Horowitz, retired president and chief executor of the National United Jewish Appeal
INVENTION - Jim Young
Like many inventions, my invention builds on work previously done by others.
Today, it is often hard to turn left across oncoming traffic at a traffic light. Many straight-through drivers race through the intersection even though the light has long been yellow, or even turned red. The approved technique for the car wanting to turn is to pull to the middle of the intersection, wait for the light to turn red, and then make the left turn. But even that can be dangerous if someone is trying to beat the light.
My invention is a signal to that shows whether an oncoming car has actually applied its brakes or not. This will increase the chances of making a left turn at an intersection safely. I want to combine it with another signal similar to one I once had on my motorcycle. It would quickly flash my turn signals for few seconds after the brakes were applied. A flashing light is much more likely to catch someone's attention, and this will also help to prevent rear-end accidents.
Some law changes may be required to implement these signaling systems, but they can easily be retrofitted to existing vehicles.

RESEARCH PROJECT - JIM YOUNG
I propose to do a powerpoint presentation on ASIT or "Advanced Systematic Inventive Thinking." ASIT was developed by Dr. Roni Horowitz from techniques originally developed by Soviet inventor Genrich Altshuller.
Altshuller had worked in the Soviet patent office in the 1940s and had discovered certain generalizable patterns in the inventive process that could be systematically applied to create new inventions. Altshuller called his technique TRIZ, a Russian acronym for "the theory of inventive problem solving." Subsequent work by Horowitz and others has tried to build upon and simplify the techniques of TRIZ. TRIZ, ASIT and other similar techniques have been applied at Ford, Daimler-Chrysler, Johnson & Johnson, Boeing, NASA, Hewlett Packard, Motorola, General Electric, Xerox, IBM, Samsung and Kodak in attempting to develop new products.
Interestingly, Altshuller was imprisoned in the Soviet Gulag for having the audacity to suggest to Joseph Stalin that he could improve on the Russian inventive process. Much of the formulation of his TRIZ methodology took place while he was in prison. For many years TRIZ was more popular in Europe than in the United States.
TRIZ is not easy to understand. ASIT provides some of the most important principles of TRIZ and is much easier for the beginner.
